Information on online and social media competitions
Fake prize draws or sweepstakes are constantly in circulation on the Internet and in social networks such as Facebook. The fraudsters like to use real, well-known companies as the supposed organisers in order to suggest respectability and attract participants. Unfortunately, it cannot be completely ruled out that companies of the Südzucker Group might also be used as the alleged organisers for such fraudulent attempts. However, these competitions have no connection whatsoever with the companies of the Südzucker Group.
Please note:
- Competitions of Südzucker Group companies always and exclusively take place on their official channels - websites, social media such as Facebook, Instagram etc.. If you do not find any reference to the competition there, it is most likely a fraud attempt.
- If, for example, there is no information on contact details, imprint, conditions of participation or data protection statement for competitions on websites or social media pages, caution is also advised - most likely this is also an attempt at fraud. The same applies to Facebook competitions where a "Like" or sharing of the entry is a prerequisite or is supposed to improve the chances of winning.
In case of suspicion, please do not pass on your personal data and do not click on any links that seem suspicious to you (also pay attention to the URL used). Please do not forward these competitions either.
