On September 7, 2010 Südzucker AG Mannheim/Ochsenfurt, Mannheim, and its subsidiary AGRANA Beteiligungs-AG, Vienna/Austria, were informed that the Austrian Federal Competition Authority has referred AGRANA Zucker GmbH and Südzucker, among others, to the Cartel Court of Vienna on allegation of a past violation of the Austrian Cartel Act. AGRANA and Südzucker were accused of engaging in anti-competitive agreements relating to Austria. Südzucker is currently examining this accusation which is new to the company.
